(VIDEO) When You're Black in Rochester, NY and Your Scooter Breaks Down

Young African-American Man is Surrounded by Two Rochester, NY Police Officers and a New York State Trooper after His Motor Scooter Breaks Down.

By Davy V.

A young African-American man who works as a restaurant delivery driver in Rochester, NY had just made his last lunch delivery when his motor scooter stalled out in the middle of traffic in a busy Rochester, NY intersection Wednesday afternoon.

As he was walking his motor scooter on the sidewalk, two Rochester, NY Police officers along with a New York State Trooper saw him and pulled over.

But the officers weren't there to help him or offer him  any assistance.

Instead the three of them asked him if he had stolen the scooter.

I guess when you're black in Rochester, NY the police automatically assume that if you're pushing your broken down motorscooter down the street, it must be stolen.
